Apple handles every purchase. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

A new iPhone

You pay once. Download the app again on any iPhone signed in with the same Apple Account. Your data lives on your phone, so it moves with an iCloud backup or Quick Start – or with iCloud sync, in the apps that have it.

Family Sharing

It's on for every app. Up to five other people in your family group can download it at no extra cost.

Updates

Free, for as long as the app is on the App Store.

If we stop

The app keeps working. There is no server to switch off.
